what's this about?

I intend to use this weblog to explore effective ways to visualize web clickstream data. Current Web Analytic tools often provide simple and generic visualizations of metrics. What is missing is that extra visualization which parses the data in such a way that instantly clarifies what is going on. Hence my interest in this space.

Inspiration

I am inspired mostly by the ground breaking visualizations shown on the New York Times online site and several other specialized visualization sites. There is a certain quality about the way visualizations are used to effectively convey information - something I hope to explore with Web Analytics data.
